Service Excellence????

busy busy busy...
have been working for some long hours recently but time pass very fast before i know it...
Working in the service industry, ppl tend to ask alot fr u in terms of quality service... especially when they tink that u owe them something because they pay for it... hence in the process you might experience some verbal abuse by them...
i've come to realise that this happens to everyone, including myself.. sometimes when a particular waitress or cashier or service provider did certain gesture that doesnt live up to ur expectations, i'll tend to criticise.. not in front of him or her.. but to the person next to me.. a very bad habit... a very typical singaporean habit... even though i'm in the service industry...
oh well, will singapore ever have top quality customer service fr its ppl??
i tink to truely acheive that is very hard.. everyone shld learn how to truely respect each other before we can achive tat...
everyone shld not be too crtitical and harsh on the critics..
everyone shld not think that the money they pay, the service provider owe it to them...
Oh well, i tink having excellent service islandwide is as hard as wanting the Singapore Soccer Team to get into World Cup by 2010.. how many more yrs to 2010??
Either one is not an easy task that can be acheive over a span of 10yrs with just a verbal promise by so and so......
Hopefully with the IR up and coming perhaps service excellence can be acheive... in one way or another and put our small island on the world map famous for that and not famous for our singlish and our enduarance to queue and eat buffet....

Updates

2nd time i missed laoshi's bday celebration at his place as i'm once again working ... nevertheless, i called up and wished him happy bday...
I've come to learn of a new sport from my bro.. its call Tchoukball, (pronounced at 'chook-ball').
The key difference between Tchoukball and other sports (for example, football) is ethics. In current sports, role-model players fake fouls and do generally whatever they can to give their team the advantage. This is unethical and is not looked upon favourably by the majority of observers. Plus as there is no physical contacts, its safer in a way.. its a combination several games such as volleyball, handball, basketball etc... whicg makes it very fun... and its suitable for all ages... oh well... if i get a chance to try it i'll update more... =)
Oh yeah, after 9 months, i'm back to Kuishinbo last evening... mauahah.. the place just recently under went a renovation... making more seating area for the ever-growing japanese buffet lovers... familar music of " dong dong dong we are Kuishinbo... no 1 authentic japanese buffet restaurant..." some new dishes they tat have such as, oysters, sweet clams, sobert, min chocolate puff, nicer looking sushi makis, dobinmushi etc.... i ate to my heart's content... the last evening is equivalent to my whole day's meal yest and my breakfast today.... ahhahahaha.....
Work has been so far so gd...muahahhaa...
