Insanity Workout- Day 10

today's workout is a repetitive of one of the workout last week.... but that does not mean that I could do much more better...hahahaa one of my weakness is that i'm not that flexible, especially my hamstring and calves hence my thighs and quads are very tight plus my flat feet makes my knees painful...hahahah

as the workouts involved alot of squatting and jumping and also alot of fast movements fr low to high... i get dizzy super easy..hahaha could be due to my high blood or old age???

well as the workouts are repetitive, need to always motivate myself to keep up... hahaha...
counting down to day 63....

Insanity Workout- Day 6

my perspiration is drying off my body as i typed with my trembling fingers...
we have just completed day 6 of our work out.. today we pushed ourselves hard and our lungs screamed for more air...

at least i'm proud that i did not take as many breaks as i did on my 1st day.... but today.. like Mr Ong commented, i had a breakthrough.. not because we did better, but because i pushed myself harder that i cried towards the end of the workout.. i guess it was a personal accomplishment... a pad-on-my-back telling myself that i can do better each time.. i'm getting stronger day by day!!!!!

Avatar

I can understand why its named the best movie of 2009... why James Cameron insist that it was not the right time to release the movie 14 years ago after Titanic.. because of his strong belief, dedication & patience, Avatar was born... a classic forever...

you never felt a second in the movie that you were disconnected.. a movie that you will share with ur children and recommend to ur frens even if its 10yrs down the road... u feel the Navis..so much so that u feel their pain, anguish, hope and love... the colors were beyond bravo... the music was heavenly composed... their language is so mystical yet romantic & strong that you wanna learn it too... perhaps i could learn it too..

the Navi language is develop by
Paul Frommer, a professor at the Marshall School of Business with a doctorate in linguistics. Na’vi was designed to fit James Cameron's conception of what the language should sound like in the film, to be realistically learnable by the fictional human characters of the film, and to be pronounceable by the actors, but not closely resemble any single human language.

Technology really helped this movie alot..but also because of the story.. it complimented the technology...

it showed the ugly side of human: Greed & power.. Yet it also showed love, compassion, remorse & determination, the good of human....

Insanity Workout- Day 1

today marks the 1st day of our workout... it was heart-stopping and breathe-taking... literally...

It has been a long time that my lungs screamed for more air.. i could here my heart pounding in my ears... and i lost coordination of my arms and legs, my body ached with every move... sounds unbelievable??  it happened and it will continue to..

BUT all these will help us get stronger and stronger each day.. and i looked forward to day 63....

Post Holiday Mood

On the last day of our Florida trip to Walt Disney World & Universal Studios, i was very reluctant to come bk to Ann Arbor...hahaha of cuz, this happens to everyone... time really just go super fast when u are having fun....

I really really really really enjoyed myself on this trip.. not only did Mr Ong was with me... also because both of us enjoyed each other's company too.. =) though we went to the wrong hotel, i'm glad Mr Ong was not pissed off.. instead he was very sweet.. knowing that my sense of directions super buang, he took over the navigations of what bus to take, which directions to go...heheh tink because of him leading the way, i super duper enjoyed myself...hahahahahah

We both agree that we will not bring our kids back to Walt Disney World unless he/she/them can already walk and appreciate the rides and have a gd time... we saw many parents brought kids that were as young as 1-3 yrs old to Disney. Sure the kids don't have to pay for entrance... but will they even rem anything fr the trip?? besides, you will then have carry all the babies stuff and carry the babies too...

Mr Ong also commented that how come Tinkerbell is so much prettier then the Princesses.. i said i'm not too sure.. perhaps Tinkerbell is so small that it appeals to him..hahhah he even change his desktop wallpaper to Tinkerbell can...hahaha so cute....

I love roller coasters, the higher the better, the faster the better.. Mr Ong love it tooo, but he always needs time to recover after 1 ride...hehehe so i really appreciate that he sat all the rides with me... of cuz he had fun too... the special effects of the rides are simply stunning...

There are many beautiful memories we have created for this trip, documented either in videos or pictures...and i'm glad we went on this trip..hahaha even though Mr Ong's pocket has a super big hole now...muahahaha but its worth it... compared to if he bought me say a Rolex watch, ill will not know how to appreciate this kind of watch now anyway....hehehe

11 days into the 2010.. what have i accomplish?? hahaha nothing, i'm still the old self...happy like a little kid!!!

But i do have things mapped out for myself:

- Mr Ong and me are starting on this 63-day workout program. and we are going to stick to it.. we are doing this to improve our health and fitness.. and we are going to complete it...

- i'll try to take up a foreign language by myself... I'll pick Italian...hahahaha

- and i'll try to get my driving licence here, so when i go back SG, just need to convert... its so much easier to pass over here..and it cost lesser compared to SG..hahaha once go back SG, my licence points is for Mr Ong to deduct one lor...ahahhaa

- we will cont to eat healthy...

- get more ideas to furnish and decorate our new home when we come bk..hahaha that will be fun.. i foresee that Mr Ong and me will clash on the colors scheme and furniture... hahahaa

yeapi to2010!!!!

Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure

Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure are not for the weak-hearted or weak-stomach...hahaha
because the rides are damn freaking fast & fun!!! The special effects of the fire, water, wind etc are so real because u can feel them... especially the 3-D rides...

Most of the rides are too fast or too dark to take pictures or videos..but  we really enjoyed the adrenaline rush of the roller coasters!!!

U can also recognize some of the buildings & shops there were use in movies...

Comparing to Disney, its very different... less colorful and kiddish.. but i do like the colors of their comic strip sector...very colorful and pop artish..

our online tickets~~

its a 4-D show because u can also feel water and smell...

this is a 3-D indoor roller coaster ride that have
been voted the best ride in the world for 5
consecutive year!!! It was so good that we sat for 2 times!!

The Revenge of the Mummy is an indoor roller coaster ride that
have fabulous fire special effects that really wow u fr start
to end... we also sat 2 times..hahaa

MIB is an interactive ride that allows us to fight alien by shooting at them.
it was very fun too...

For Twister, we stand and watch what damage a tornado can do.
we see buildings been ripped off, gas station exploded and
we even fell a few inches fr where we stand.. it was gd..

This is a show cum ride attraction.
the audience are roped in to produce a short clip and we get to see
how movies are done and watch the final clip... it was cool...

This is another interesting ride.. We sat on automated bicycles that took
us around in the dark to mimic the E.T movie...

according to Mr Ong, this is where Rocky met his
wife in the Rocky Movie Series..

and this is the hotel that Julie Roberts & Richard Geere
filmed Pretty Woman

the one and only Harry Potter theme ride in the world..
its still under constuction, but is expected to start
this Apr-Jun 2010...Even SG Universal also dun have...

It looks just like the Hogwarts in the movie..

he insist on the this diamond one...hahaha
