Apple Picking (3rd OCt 2010)

Its the season for apple and pumpkin picking. So we decided to head to oe of the nearby orchards to pcik our own apples!!!

We arrived at this particular orchard whereby its also a Country Fair Themed park. Hence, kids are able to find entertainment for themselves. There was even a petting farm where there are goats, lamas, sheeps and bunnies for feeding..

There was only a few kinds of apples for picking that day, but we still managed to pick a bag for our own consumption.. =))

overall a good experience... =))

muahahaha Grace sneeze and fell sideways onto the hays.. too bad didnt capture that..haha
happy family~~

Our First American College Football Game (Umich VS UMass)

Our first ever american college football game... its University of Michigan VS University of Massachusetts... The Wolverines (umich) have been in the Big 10 previous yrs, but recently have not been so.. but that does not mean that they will not give in their best...

The Americans are crazy about their sports... even though the game starts 3pm, but fr 8am, tail gating parting starts.. ppl got drunk, eating partying till the game starts... and no thunderstorm can stop the fan from watching the game!!!

The Big House (football stadium) had a attendance of 110,180 for the day... imagine the atmosphere!!! although we didnt really understand the rules of the game, it was adrenaline rush when you see the players ran for touch down and how high everyone were!!

Of cuz the cheerleaders were also eye candies =))

Half-time show performance by the marching band were impressive too.. they performed Lady Gaga's songs...

The game consists of 4 quarters of 15mins each... then a 20min half-time after 2 quarters... but because of the nature of the game... a whole entire match will usually take around 3hours.. and because we were in the student section, everyone stands and cheer for the team, the only time u get to see down is during the half-time performance..hahahah

And not forgetting the football cheers... very interesting and true to Umich.. though the team might not be able to get back to Big Ten, i wish them the very best.. they have a very gd quarterback and the coach should not only rely on him but build the team from there... =))

Next game that we are going to watch will be the Ice Hockey Game... nice!!!!
