2010 has been very kind to me. I'm getting use to the ideal of not working and taking things slow and still get to travel around US with my beloved husband. i constantly remind myself how blessed i am!!!
i'm glad that we decided that i should come to US with him as our life here together as a couple helped me grow alot... in terms of living together and accepting each other's habits, nonsenses, lousy jokes, effort in making our home a home.. =))
i tink if we were to start our lives as husband and wife in SG instead, perhaps with the stressful and fast-paced environment, we might not be able to learnt as many things as we did in US. If we were apart, things might not be going as well as now.
We visited places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon, Napa Valley, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Toronto (in Canada) etc... and we created memories that are imprinted in our lives that we constantly still reminisce now and then.
Friends that we made here also made our stay memorable. Some of them i will still get to meet up in SG when we are back. Others if they decided to come SG for holiday or when we decided to pay them a visit.
Baby Grace also became a big part of our lives here in US. We were her first 2 visitors moments after she was delivered and i baby-sit her since she was about 2 months old. i'll miss her when we leave in April 2011. She will not rem me but i'm glad i could baby-sit her as i've hands-on experience of new-born baby and this in-turn will benefit us when we have our own kids. Something you dont get from the textbooks, unless u experience it urself. I'm glad i have this experience...
Overall, 2010 has been very rewarding and satisfying. I look forward to the new 2011 with excitement and more adventures to come!!!
i also cant wait to go back to SG and see my family. I miss them too =)) and not forgetting our frens =))
