Packing and shipping

As we countdown to the last few weeks of our stay here, we are beginning packing and clearing out stuff, selling stuff... 

we dismantle quite a few big items like the TV, sound system, wii and other items, clean them, plastic-wrap them and pack them into their original boxes. The shipping ppl will be picking up the items this fri and get it ready for shipping back to SG, which will reach about 2months time....

by shipping by some of the items, we are able to have more luggage space in case we still have alot of things to bring back. At the moment, it seems like we have enough luggage space for our remaining belongings... which also means that for our last shopping spree, i'll have to control the no of items i buy, else will end up with excess baggage... hahaha

counting down to the last 31 days till we are home... 

Carpal Tunnel

Dar's last review went great. he's on therapy exercises now. but he still have some tingling sensation in his 2nd finger, so he is schedule for a out-patient surgery for carpal tunnel, to help release the pressure so the tingling sensation will go away.... 

plus reviews and therapy sessions will be completed before we fly back then he will see other docs to cont his therapy...

everything is happening and going well... =)

Spring~

i can smell and hear Spring approaching... the birds chirping in the morning.... the weather getting warmer... the sun shines longer... the snow piles melting away... the small animals coming out to play... the smell of grass and fresh air is simply refreshing!!!

although spring is short, i'm glad that we will be able to enjoy it before we head home =)))

7 more weeks...

ahhhhh... i'm counting down to the last 7 weeks of our stay here in the US. so looking forward to go home and see everyone!!! 


and there is so much to do... i'm so grateful that Dar has been planning for our new nest... all the renovation plans and all the first point of contacts for the various jobs... all i have to do is be there to decide the go ahead or not... 

i did some research on what kind of furniture we are looking at, what color of paint we are using, what blinds we should go for etc in my scrapbook and also some simple design on GoogleSketchup... But he go it down in a list-to-do things... i'm blessed...

all i'm doing now is taking care the selling off of our household items before we leave and also the packing of our items... seems easy, but still it takes time and energy....

Great News!!!

Dar does not require surgery for his fractured wrist. The head hand-surgeon reviewed his MRI, latest x-rays and confirmed that we could let the bone heal by itself... because surgery will not make it any better... the swelling has gone down alot but there are still some bruising and blood clot. He's out of the cast and is being put on a splint. 

The next review is in 3 weeks time and hopefully with the at-home exercises,  Dar would be able to move & rotate his wrist more and then move on to rehab.... hehehe

this is truly great news...
