Rainy Thursday~~

Its thursday again..
a rainy thursday..
a wet and lazy thrusday..
a very good thursday to laze in bed..
a happy thursday at KK with the kids.. but i was not there today..
a little under the weather again.. blocked nose, dry coughing and migrain is back again..
didnt want to pass the germs to the kids, so i stayed at home whole day..
i watched a whole day of korean drama again..muahaha

Anyway, after 2 days of consideration, i bought a new phone with basic functions instead of extending my contract with Singtel for another 24 months or signing up a new line with Starhub... simply cuz i'll end up paying more for the next few months and i cant do a true number retention till end of the yr... oh well, at least i bought a Samsung phone which i like..muahahaha... ill not bring the phone to the toilet again...hahah

Last night i finally get to watch Phantom of the Opera!! A truely spectacular show..
great opera singing from the cast, although its abit hard to catch wat the ladies are singing as their voices were very high pitched.. it brought my migrain back almost instantly..they realli can scream!!
muahaha... the guys singing were much more nicer... i like it alot.. as i can hear them singly out clearly every single word... sounds much more romantic as well..hehehe ..very nice visual effects in terms of the lightings and the special fire effects...great sounds effects... beautiful costume ..beautiful music performed by the orchestra... simply beautiful..heheh

For the final scene of the Phantom of the Opera, the Phantom had captured Christine, to keep her by his side, all becuz he is envious of Christine's relationship with Raoul. The Phantom threatened to kill Raoul. But Christine stopped a tragedy from happening when she kissed the Phantom...
i guess the kiss warmth his heart, melt the hard feelings he had...
i guess the kiss made him understood the true love that Christine & Raoul shared..

i guess the kiss made him understood that love is not just abt looks and owning someone like a toy.. u may have the person, but the heart is not with you..

i guess the kiss showed him the selfess love Christine showed, which eventually the Phantom ask her to go away with Raoul..

i guess the kiss will be treasured by the Phantom, and he will never be lonely again...

At the end of the show, the whole cast came out to thanked the audience, i tot the Phantom wld remove his mask, to show his face..but he did not..hhehe... well some mystery shld be kept ba... oh man he can really sing..heheh

My phone drop into the toilet bowl!!!!!!!!!
shit man... it drop right into the toilet bowl....how it happen was that i carried it into the toilet... left it on the counter top which is just above the toilet bowl with my tee... when i pull the tee, the phone slip and drop right into the toilet.. within 3 seconds i pulled it out but it was still too late...it shut down liao..haiz.. why must tis happen to me... im so reliant on this phone of my now...how how how how how..... although i have tots to get another phone just in case.. i didnt want this phone to die so fast.. wtf.. my treo 650 just die lidat... now i'm temporary using my mum's phone..haiz... so sad... im drying it now.. hopefully can still sent for repair and can still use..haiz.. it really cant use, den need to buy new phone... lucky i back up my phone pretty often.. at least the contacts i can still retrieve... shld i get another PDA phone??hmmmm...

If really buy new phone.. which one shld i get?? but before choosing which phone to get.. i need to consider shld i stick with Singtel and re-contract (as the 2 yrs contract will officially ends in jul, but now can earlier upgrade), or switch to starhub, where i will get 5% off my total bill for using their 3 services (cable, maxonline, mobile)?? or just get a cheap empty phone??

Some of my colleagues say tat since i have been using singtel for such a long time (7 long yrs), i shld stick to it cuz got better loyalty program... plus it has better coverage no matter where u r in sg... but im tempted to switch to starhub cuz of the instant discount i can get every month... but of cuz its coverage is somehow limited in parts of sg...hai.. maybe i shld just get a cheap phone.. wait till my singtel line finishes its contract in jul den terminate it, so no need to pay admin charge... den switch to starhub... by the end of the yr, if i switch from singtel to starhub, i can still retain the same no without having to carry another no.. hmmm... maybe i shld jsut do that hor??

well temporary just use mummy's phone ba... tks alot mummy....

updates~~~

Muahahhaaaaaa...finally some updates for the past few days... Beware!! super long post with no pics..muahaha.. if u dun have time i suggest dun start!!

First of all, happy b-day to myself!!! and yes i'm one yr closer to my mid 20s.. many women will dread as our age goes up...but i'm fine with it.. i beleive all of us can age gracefully..muahahhaa
When the clock strike 12mn for 10th May 2007. My first bday wish came true! Uncle dar dar called all the way back fr UK to sing me my b-day song...muahahaha... he sang a chinese version one.. with changes to the lyrics..hehhehehe i very selfish so not sharing wat was in the song..muahahah It was so nice and warmth that my tears just rolled down my cheeks... so touched... i appreciate the song alot...muaacks muaacks... He asked if i did open the letterbox anot, i said yes but there wasnt any thing for me.. guess Mr Postman is late... i hope he will come with something for me soon.... the waiting part is the most annoying yet excited moment..hehe

As planned, I went to KK for my usual volunteering work. I played with 14-yr old 'CY'. We played 'O-hello'. Its played as the same way as the 'weiqi', but of cuz the simpler version and lesser counters... i won only 2 out of the 5 matches we played... its not abt winning when i played with the kids, its the peace and quite i get when i'm with them.... i thank them for their time. And the day was even better when we realise that there were lesser kids staying in the ward! This is gd, because it means that more kids are spending their time at home or sch, and they are feeling better and not sick.. it also means that they are eating more of their favourite food & spending more time with their loved ones back at home... thats just perfect!!

Then I had lunch with Lynnette & Betsy @ Suntec. Had japanese food...muaahah.. we did alot of catch up & of cuz gossip..muahaha... So glad that everyone is moving very well with our lives..hehehe.... who knows there will be wedding bells soon?? muahaha...
Ruifan cldnt make it as she was on afternooon shift, but she was very sweet that she sent me a b-day card thru snail mail...a very cute card with her coloring as well, i asked if she stole her niece's coloring pencils..muahaha... tks alot Missy Seow!!
As for Feli, she cldnt make it as well.. its okie.. we will have another gathering soon... Missy Seow's b-day coming up soon!!!

After lunch was coffee @ Coffee Bean. I had a slice walfer-cheesecake as my bday cake along with caramel latte... yum yum..of cuz Lynnette & Betsy sang me b-day song!!muahah more gossip was shared. Then we head home.. where my dinner is awaiting me..muahahah lunch not even digested..muhahah... Dinner was at home with my family.. simple dishes from mummy..tks mum!!

Oh yeah, special tks to Alex Liew, who called up and sang me a b-day song & to aso confirm with me on out Paintball trip coming next Saturday!! (Yes, i'm playing paintball again!! ).

Went to Toa Payoh with Mummy on friday... we had lunch at Delifrance, hmmm as a form of Mother's day Lunch ba..hhahah Always pass by this quite big shop in Toa Payoh that sells alot of clothes. One look & i classified them as super budget stall.. all the tees starts from 3 dollars!! the most expensive was only abt 8 bucks. Material not bad one.. color and design aso very nice... now i know where to shop for cheap & nice tees..muahahahah

Then home sweet home to start my Korean Drama marathon.. I completed the 16-series within 48 hrs!! muahaha.. Karen loan me this tv drama called The Man of the Vineyard. The story is abt this city girl & money means everthing to her. One day, she get an opportunity of a lifetime. She is to recieve an arce of vineyard if she works in the farm for a yr! Wat was waiting for her is an unknown country boy. Two totally different pp are in for a trouble but cupid finds them out of nowhere. Its a romantic situation comedy between these two...

I seriously find that Korean Drama are way better then Taiwan Idol Drama... Why I like it is because each and every line the leads says are so real and close to ur heart. You actually can feel as if someone is saying it to you in real person. The lines are so real that you wanted to be part of it.. u wish someone wld say or do the same thing to you..muahah It feels so real that it actually warmth your heart! I like the fact that even the smallest expression & action of the leads triggers the emotion within me..muahahhahah so fantasy...muahahah

I guess to have a really successful Drama lies in the story writer & script writer. Without this behind the scene hero, who comes up with the most touching lines, the drama would not have succeed... well at least i i love it...muahaha.. now i know why aunties like Korean Drama..muahahah... oh shit...am i becoming one myself??? oh noooooo.. muahahhaha

Had to missed VB practise yest as my cramps were so bad that i had to rest at home.. haiz...next week aso going to miss it as im going for paintball session..muahahahhahaa....but i did helped my mum to do up her resume..so that she can apply for some jobs..muahah... mum cant rem alot of details so i jsut do up a very simple one...hehehehehhe...

Lastly, as today is Mother's Day. I wld like to say 'Mummy! I love you!! tks for taking care of us for so many yrs... I know its very frustrating that we always talked back and go against you... but tis does not mean that we do not know that your constant nagging is for our good..muahahaha... stay happy and young always!!!'

Blue Stars on Me~~~

Hmmm.... ever since i reached the age of 17.. i wanted to have a tattoo on me...back then, it was like to serve as a reminder that i'm growing up into a young woman..muahaha... but tat did not happen.. simply because i did not know wich part of me shld i inked it.. wat pic to represent what i was thinking back then, most importantly... i know my parents will scream at me and of cuz im afraid that i'll regret years later...muahaha

Tots of getting a tattoo still comes to my mind everynow and then...

Now at the age of 22 going 23.. i still have the urge to do it... if i were to do it.. i would want to do 3 stars, outlined in turquiose-blue at my left hip.. its a very small one... the 3 stars represent Family, Love & Trust.

Why Family? Cuz my family is the most important ppl in my life..without anyone of them, i'll not be who i am, especially for my parents, for wat they have done... though we quarrel, talk back, no manners with each other, we still care for each other...love each other...without my siblings, life will be so boring.. family is the most precious possesion one can ever own...

Why Love? Besides money can make the world go round, i believe love can do wonders too... to love and be loved is one of the most priceless gift i own... to see human beings showing love to one in their own ways does wonder!! Besides, love will always bring smile to everyone, and the warmth of a smile can melt hearts...:)

Why trust? Trust represent confidence & respect, at least to me. Without it, you will become a selfish being that only cares for yourself, will do anything to get wat you want.... Trust is also important to keep relationships going strong, be it among your family, frens or work....

So why did i want to use stars instead? First of all, its small, easy to hide (from my parents?? mahahah), a unisex design... i like stars... Why at the hip?? Mainly cuz can hide with clothes (again from my parents..muahaha)

But will I eventually get it?? will i have the courage to do it?? will i regret it?? Of cuz i'll get approval from my parents..hehehe... i tink someone will also dun realli like it hor?? hehehe

Another 5 days to my b-day!! muahaha.. ill be 23 tis yr... so wat did i plan for myself???

First of all, just recieve news tat all of us has to do spring cleaning in the club coming wed from 9pm till watever time we finish.. attendance is complusory, warning letter will be issued for not turning up duh~...likelyhood ill be counting down my bday with the crazy bunch of ppl in my club... so gonna miss them when we leave for the greener grass pastures on the other side...oppps :X did i jsut say that ?? heheheheheh

As b-day falls on my favourite thursday, i'm gonna to KK for both the morning and afternoon shift..wat better way to surround myself with the wonderful company of the kids...:) den go all over sg to 'ta pao' all my fav food back home and eat till i drop with my family...muahhahaa... not bad idea ar?? Purposely change my schedule so tat no need work on fri.. can slp till late late...den slack at home..muahaha... or go for the 2nd slot @ KK?? heheh.. tink jsut rest ba..heheh

So wat would i be getting for myself?? I'm treating myself to the 'Phantom of The Opera' on 16 May 2007.. will be watching with Maeve.. we have been wanting to catch it..hehhe.. suppose to watch on the eve of my bday... but no more slot..hehe aso gd lar.. if watch on tat day, ill have to skip the last min spring-cleaning... then will kena warning letter? no worth it lei..hehehe...

Tis is the 2nd time on my actual bday uncle dar dar is not in sg to be by my side..both times he's in Europe for course sent by the coy..hehe..

the first time was 2 yrs ago, during my 21st bday... when i knew he's going away, i was so sad that he cant be with me for my party!! i even didnt want to go ahead with the party... but guess luck was with us.. he can still be with me at the party but not on the actual day.. fair enough right..hehe we plan everything together... from guest list, food list, practically everything.. most memorable is when we had to go Seng Song to buy all the food! We filled his car with food...muahah den we spend hrs preparing for the bbq food..hehehhe... as he was leaving the next day right after the party.. i bought him a jug of Famous Amos Cookies, bought him a white teddy and wrote him something really mushy..hehehe... He made me 21 kawasaki roses, to represent the 21 days he's not in sg with me... but 1 was missing wor..hehe....he still owe me one though..heheh.. anyway, he surprised me with a swatch watch on the day of my bday..he 'bribe' my sis to hide the present den pass it to me on my bday..heheh i was so touched..hehehe.. oh yeahhe even called back and sang me 'happy b-day' just at the clock struck 12 for my bday..heheheh

now for the 2nd time he's not in sg with me... i just wish for him to be well in UK.. hehe... just call and sing me a b-day song k..ehhehe... ill just need tat.... wait till u are back then we celebrate all the festivals and anniversaries that we missed..ehhehe... set k?? hehehe..


Overall, my b-day wish is to:
- be happy everyday & live life to the fullest!!
- find my dream job!!
- stay healthy!
- continue to spend time with the lovely kids @ KK
- spent more time with ahbet, feli, ruifan & lynnette!!!
- catch up with old frens and classmates if possible,turn up for all the gatherings!!
- everyone ard me, tat includes my close frens, beloved family, colleagues, the kids @ KK and of cuz my uncle dar dar be happy and healthy everyday!!


muahah...looks like alot..but all are simple wishes for a simple ger like me...its not tat hard to ask for yeah..heheheh...

Thursday Again~~

My favourite day of the week is here again...muahaha... as usual, started of my morning @ KK. Today played with 'XQ'. A very chubbly & cheerful..at times shy especially when he needs to pee..hehe.. very gd at maths... We played Junior Monopoly for abt 1.5 hrs... im not realli a big fan of Monopoly, but the Junior version one is pretty cute.. instead of building hotel, we buy various play grounds..i bought the Ferris Wheel, Helicopter & Bumper Car @ $4 each... the Hunted House at $3... 'XQ' is so eager to become the ultimate winner with the most cash that he managed to convinve his granny to join in half-way, when both of us already bought most of the lots..muahaha..His wish came true.. within 10 mins, he won all his granny's money!! Granny has to declare herself bankrupt..muahhaa... smart chap.. He also have a very gd appetite, which is gd, cuz i seen some of the other kids not eating & growing skinnier by the day... He has Yong Tau Foo for breakfast.. he ordered fish porridge for lunch and chicken porridge for dinner..muahah... he mentioned that he cld be going home tml evening.... happy for him as well.. guess he miss home...:) I left the Junior Monopoly with him, so that he cld 'challenge' his dad later in the evening...muahahah..

Later going back to TP... a place where i spent my poly yrs having lots of fun..muahha.. thinking back, how did i managed to keep up with 6days of training..yet still managed to graduate..muahaha... TPCP has also grown over the yrs.. from the initial 3-women team, to the now abt 20 gers & growing..?? with all their hard work put in... they showed results and prove to the sch tat they are not wasting the sch funds & resources... they have better equipment and training facilities now.... no longer the TP tat only seat in the gallery when others go up to get their medals... we are getting medals too..and more will come... but as all the conditions turn better for the team, they seem to care more for personal glory rather then team work... which i fear most when i left sch.. with better equipment, sub-consciously, they are not training as hard as they did while in a heavy boat... mentally still not strong, teamwork not so there yet.. but of cuz... not all the teams are lidat... i do hope they can see how the seniors play... together as a team, high morale, mentally strong & prepared...and most inportantly...be humble & have fun as a team..only that u will fight till your last ounce of strength.... all the best for the upcoming SRRR.. ill try to be there if my work allows me too...=(

Times Flies...

3 yrs have pass since graduation... since then frens & classmates had taken either the 'study' or 'work' choice.. i chose to work... stuck to the same coy for 3 yrs (in another 8 days to be exact!). I officially started work on my b-day!! mauahhahaha...

I still rem my interview was pretty fun, with laughters all thru the interview... the HR even asked me how long do i tink i will be with the company. I still rem i told her I will stay for at least 2 yrs or more should there be future opportunity..muahaha.. i said tat all becuz they painted the picture all too pretty... nevertheless, 4 months into my job, i tendered, cuz i didnt see any career advancement, didnt realli have full satisfaction from the job. But guess wat, my resignation letter was thrown back... when guess the boss back then cld'nt take it tat the whole team threw in the letters..muahaha... den i was given the opportunity to work in the mktg dept... learnt alot more things.. but life was not easy especially when i know nuts abt mktg and to make things worse, in the short span of 14months, two of my mktg boss left.. (according to reliable sources.. they were either asked to leave, fired or terminated ...opps...:x) den i moved over to do sales, to get away from direct pressure from au**ie...

Its been 3 yrs with the same coy... time for me to move on...

i was posted this question, "Whats your aspiration?". My answer, "To be happy & productive in my work without having to drag myself to work everyday. Doing something fr scratch & seeing that it ended the exactly the way i want it gives me the rush..." and i ended my ans with a big smile on my face...muahaha... my model ans.. at least to me...
