My First Time~~
As the title suggest- my first time~ of wat you might ask? its was my first time to have a job interview out of singapore... wow! sounds gd?? far fr it.. besides the usual butterflies in my stomach during the interview... very physically & mentally tiring , especially when u have to endure 5 hrs of bus ride fr SG to KL, just to be there for a 30-min interview...den rush to catch the next available bus back to SG, theres another 5 hrs of bus ride... Is it worth it?? spending on the bus ride, my mum came along cuz she's afraid i alone very dangerous... she was tired too.. TKS MUM!! i appreciate the company... well.. the least i could do was to be at my best during the interview.. now all i can do is to wait for them to get back to me.. if everything goes well, it will be gd for me... if not.. its a learning experience for me as well... oh yeah.. my dad won lottery..small prize, so he gave me some money, tat enough covered my travelling expenses..so not too bad right..hahaa...
Counting down to my last few days in the company... tat day saw my boss, he told me that the corp office lost my resignation letter... i was like 'WTF'.. resignation also can misplace... wat is this man.. lucky my boss scan a copy of the letter.. he printed it out to let me sign again ... sometimes i realli dunno how the corp ppl function.. although i was with them for awhile.. it didnt seem tat bad back then...now its practically in a mess...at least to wat i see... well well... 6 more days to my freedom....yes~~~~
hmm.. tink my tioman trip might be cancel... alot of ppl back out..haha..its okie..im sure i can find things to keep myself occupied..muahahaha

Enjoying the Peace~~
I'm all alone at home..hahaha... my dad, mum and bro went on a short trip to the Genting Highlands yesterday..they should be back in the early morning..hahah.. my sis works till like really late so i have the whole house to myself..muahahahah.. i'm enjoying the peace.. nobody to nag at me.. no need to keep hearing the same stuff over and over and over again..hahah but i kinda feel uneasy without the 'noise' i hear fr my family everyday..hahahah.. how irony...
Its been raining almost everyday without fail.. i like it when the soft rain when it splatters on my skin... those kind when it starts to rain.. veri nice..hahaha..
Tml going to TP for alumni canoe polo training.. its been abt 8 months since i last sat in a boat, held on to my paddle and play a game or two with the team... since tml off.. might as well go down...:)
Counting down to my last 14 days at my current work place..muahaha... time realli flies... out of the 14 days.. i have 3 off days, that leaves me to 11 working days.. on hand i have 7 days of leave to clear..hahahaha..how wonderful!! that would mean that i only have to work 4 days!! mauhahaha.. but im not going to clear all the leave.. takeing a few in btw, cuz i still have my this mth's target to meet.. since its the last month, might as well do everything shui shui....its not a gd begining but at least i can make it a gd ending?? Cant wait for July 07 to come.. if nothing goes wrong, i shld be heading to Tioman to chill with my group of colleagues...of which at least half of the group have left the coy..muahahahahahahahahahhah..
Soon i'll be starting the whole process of finding jobs, going for interviews, rejecting offers, kena reject, accepting offers all over again.. well well...it will be fun.. wouldnt it?? its part of parcel i guess...
muahaha...going to polish my introduction for the interview...mauahha...time to "sell" myself again..

Movie Updates~~
Couldnt get to slp cuz im feeling quite full...though my dinner was abt 5 hrs ago.. met up with uncle dar dar's mum and sis for dinner at one of the coffee shop nearby.. we had sweet & sour pork, prawn-paste chicken wings and fish steamboat...hahaha
1 of my past time was movies... a very gd way to pass time.. used to watch alot with my buddies back in sch.. now more with uncle dar dar..but since he not ard, alot of shows cant watch with him.. for the past 15 weeks, tink i watched only 3? ahahha... recently caught Pirates of the Carribbean and Shrek 3!!
I love the 2 movies..haha.. so happen that both shows are the 3rd movie.. usually when a movie series have too many, the story tends to get draggy and cuz of the high expectation, movie lovers are usually disppointed when the actual movie is delievered... but these two are simply wonderful!!
Johnny Depp is so forever sexy and funny... one of the best actors of his time...so versatile that he can take on any role that is given to him... still rem his first movie i watch.. 'Edward Scissors hand'... he didnt really talk much in the movie, he really has great acting skills to convey his love.
And Shrek 3 had me luffing all the way... the animations and jokes are simply fantastic... who says cartoon are childish? with the technology to make animations come to life, there are morale behind each animation... i luff so hard when Shrek's nightmare babies called him 'dardar'... and when slping beauty fell aslp just at the right time to trip the soldiers.. when prince charming sang abt his shampooed flowing hair...
Knowing what you dun want makes u tink wat u really want and realli perserve to get it...... thats the morale i picked out fr Shrek 3...

Thursday AGAIN~~
Hola~~
been so busy lately with work that every night when i reach home, i'll just head to lala land after shower.. due to the fact that more ppl are leaving the team, and the management is not hiring fast enough, resulted in the current strength to work a lot more harder, putting in the extra hours.. some even have to sacrifice our off days.. but heck care, i still have my well-deserved off day today, because its THURSDAY!!! muahahahaa
A few updates:
(1) Oh YES!! i finally threw in my resignation on 1st June 07 and that makes my last day 30 June 07! Its a letter that was overdue.. i should have done it 2 yrs ago..
Many ppl ask me why i left, is it because i found a new job??
Well, the truth is, i have not found any job.. many say i'm brave to tender without having found a job, while others feel tat i'm abit crazy and stupid to rush into the decision. But i feel that i'll not starve to death, with abled hands and legs, i can find a job.. My boss asked my why i want to leave, (the usual stuff a boss will ask his staff when someone resign, and try to talk his way around to make the staff stay, but sad to say, its not working on me..haha)
i told him, i no longer have the passion in what i do- mship sales.. he asked me what was my passion, to be honest, i have not found it.. and i told him i duno.. then he tried very hard to attack my emotions to make me stay in the job till i find another one, by saying things like 'Lindy, you know wats ur priority now? u need to know wat is your passion'.
I had a very gd answer for him that really shut him up.
I said to him: 'Boss, I might not know where my passion lies or what i want to do, but for 1 thing i know, i dun want to stay in this company.' How would you feel? as a boss, you staff tells you that?? I dunno how he feels, but i know i'm proud of myself. I might not know exactly what i want, at least the least i can do for myself, is to know wat i DON'T WANT.
Boss is going to do some re-structuring of the CS Team. He offered me another position, asked me to think abt it. I rejected the offer on the spot, cuz i know i cant bring myself to stay in the company for another day! But he asked me to think about it and den give him an ans on friday.. nothing will change the fact that i want to leave the company. my final ans is still a NO!
Ever since graduation 3 yrs ago, i haven really rest and give myself a break to think about my future..i plunge straight into work..and kept myself busy till now.. along the way i learnt many valueble lessons, both the hard way and sweet way... so now its time to really think wat i want..where my passion lies..
(2) Job interviews~
Went for a few interview, some included my dream company... very excited.. still waiting for them to let me know the results of my interview..
I also applied for a job in Macau back in Apr 07. Tuesday, the HR called me fr Macau and told me that they are sending over a team of HR personnels to Singapore in mid-june to conduct interviews for the application of my position. I'm so happy!! If selected for the post, i get to work in Macau, that would make me an expat there right..ahaha... i'll go there and get all the experience i need for 2-3 yrs... den head back to sg to work in the IR. by then everything is up and running!! isnt tat great!!
(3) The Audition results for MTV The GAMES: I did not get selected...ahahaha its okie, was pretty fun during the audition..hahaha....
(4) I managed to maintain my weight and watch my food for the past 2 weeks..mauhaha.. recently read an article, women who work long hours tend to put on weight by muching on junk food compare to guys... so i really watched wat i eat.. i didnt skip breakfast, didnt munch junk food.. didnt over eat..didnt touch soft drinks... ill keep it that way...with more exercise coming up!!
