2009

2009 is coming to an end before i know it..
let's see what i have completed this yr so far...

Career advancement was great! got offered another promotion within 6 months of my 1st promotion last yr aug... had to turn it down cuz coming to the US with MR Ong.
Will i accept if we are not coming to US?
NOPE. I've learnt alot fr the job and took alot of shit fr the job and i deserve a better job.

I got married to the love of my life with my family, relatives and frens giving us their blessings.

I'm on a super long honeymoon cum holiday cum break here in the US ever since i started working after graduation. Its a well deserved break fr the working world. More time to do things i like. Spend time building memories with Mr Ong on the new chapters of our lives...

What more can I ask for??? well, im a human and of cuz i'll never be content and want more.. thats in all of us.... but at the moment, what i have is enough... too much of anything is never good.... over envy and not appreciative of what i have is just materialistic.

Nope, not going to set any resolution for 2010. Just want to be happy in whatever i do.

Victoria Secret supermodel Hedi Klum and her singer husband, Seal,  also said their vows on the 10th May, but on 2005... they are a super loving couple with lots of beautiful kids.. they throw the most lavish Halloween Parties.. they renew their wedding vows every yr.. and they are super fun!!!! they are like a model couple!!!

Is it a sign that all marriages on 10th May is a match in heaven??? hmmm.. only time can tell....

are we what we are???

In our own sef-thought delusion perfect world,
we always think that we know something and someone well..
we expect subconsciously that our loved one should know what we are thinking with just a look on our face or a flick of our hair...

we constantly want things to go our way..
we always wants the world to revolve around us...
we want the easy side of life...
we want the finest in life...
we also curse that the world is against us when things goes wrong...
we feel like the world owe us....

that is what we are... selfish animals...

But in the real world,
we can never know something or someone too well...
our loved ones are not mind readers and may not understand us as well as we thought we understand ourselves...
things dont always go the way we want them to...
the world dont revolve around us at all..
nothing u want to in life comes easy to you..
if u want the finest in life, you work crazy hard for it...
you are against yourself when things go wrong..
nobody and nothing owes us anything....

Chicago Day 4 (29th Nov 09)

Last day of Chicago was pretty relaxing...
we slept in.. then took a final walk to the parks that was near to our hotel to take photos..

Plan was to have check out then have brunch before heading to the bus station for our bus back to Ann Arbor..

but we could not decide where to eat, so we end up walking to the bus station, stopping along the way to have brunch. it was suppose to be a 30 mins walk fr our hotel to the bus station.. but we ended walking for 1.5 hrs... becuz i was not reading the map correctly and still wanted to go the way i wanted..

the 1.5 hrs was filled with anger, frustration, lost, irritated, emotional, cold and numbness in the fingers.

Mr Ong didnt want to tell me which way to go cuz he wants me to learn... in case i get lost next time... i lost my temper at him a few times..

By the time we reach the bus station, we were soaking wet fr the rain, i was cold, hungry, angry, near to tears, and i refuse to speak to Mr Ong, cuz i tot he wld have told me which direction i shld go...

Eventually, i calm down after a while and we started to talk again...

Overall the trip was fun and relaxing.. only thing that i dun like is the crazy tax of 10.25% for goods, 13.25% - 14.25% for food and drinks..ahaha

First time i plan a trip for the 2 of us.. always used to Mr Ong planning the trip so it was quite stressful cuz u need to know where to go next, what bus to take, where to eat, which street to turn etc.. so it get pretty frustrated when things just dont go my way...

My next task is to plan for our winter break trip to Orlando, Florida fr 28th Dec 2009 - 5 Jan
2010. its a even longer trip, and i want it to go well as we will be welcoming 2010 together in Disneyland and Universal World magically 1st time as husband and wife..

Chicago Day 3 (28th Nov 09)

3rd day starts with a trip to Christkindmarket. Its a charming German American Holiday Festival for families and friends. We had brunch of German Hotdog aka Bratwurst and also delicious potato pancakes with home made warm apple sauce... and i also had German style kaching puteh.. its almonds coated with Rum.. its damn yummy lar... but have to eat it warm.. once it gets cold, the coating will get realli hard...so not too nice...

did some shopping at Old Navy. Mr Ong bought some tees and jeans. I bought some polos for little bro and daddy...

then we move on to John Hancock Tower. It is a 100-story, 344m tall skyscraper, currently the fourth tallest building in Chicago and the sixth tallest in the US after the Willis (previously known as Sears) Tower, the Empire State Building, the Bank of America Tower, the Trump Tower and the Aon Center.

We were going to the Skydeck Oberservatory located on the 94th level. Its a 360 degree view and u could see most of Chicago... Everyone will have the Multimedia Guide, narrated by David Schwimmer fr Friends, on the view fr the top.

The view was breath-taking, and it was realli nice and you could see alot of things... and we managed to catch the sun set.. it was very romantic...

We end the day by having dinner @ Bubba Gump Shrimps Co & Market. Its a theme restaurant fr the movie Forrest Gump... the shrimps are damn fresh and its very nice...
