proud of my darling boy

proud of my little man.. at 5mths 2 weeks, he accomplish quite a no of things on his own...
now he can slp by himself, hold his milk bottle (pretty firmly), flip from his back to tummy as and when he likes and can crawl ard using his hands and stomach .. not forgetting he can turn very fast to wherever he wants to...


but i tink he got a few bad habits of his own, *oh no*
initially he only suck on his middle and 4th finger to slp, but now he suck his fingers as and when he likes... faintz....


trying to get him to sit on his own soon... hopefully daily training will help him and in 2 weeks time when daddy comes home, he will be able to show daddy...


and not sure if becuz daddy is not ard, he started screaming and throwing tantrum... kicking his legs very fast and rubbing his feet together in frustration when he is not given what he wants or not being carried... tried talking to him nicely, although dun tink he understand much, so we decided to let him cry and dont carry him immediately when he cries... but its not easy when the grandparents dote on him so much that they just ignore our instructions and just carry him..haiz... even though we tried to explain to them, they always say "aiyah, he still so young, dont let him cry so much later stomach got wind.. not good..." super faintz...


being the 1st grandson garners so much more attention that makes discipline hard... i dont want him to bully the grandparents and extort things from them....


oh well... we shall see.. worse case dun bring him to the grandparents lor... haha thats extreme, hope dont need to do that.. =) 

5 nights without dar...

its been 5 nights that dar is aways...another 17 more night dar will be bk with us... our do feel do much more quieter without him... even darling boy felt it... every night before he slps, he looks ard for daddy..kept staring at the bathroom door as if waiting for dar to come out from his shower...

have been taking daily pics of darling boy and whatsapp to dar... so that he will not miss us too much...

countting down patiently...

1st night without daddy

we sent daddy ong to sweden and he will be bk in 3 weeks time... tonight is the first night he's not home with us... but not to worry, mummy will guard our home with darling boy and wait for daddy's return :)

uti review at kkh...

darling boy went for his review checkup at KKH yesterday. he was very cooperative when it came to collecting his mid-stream urine for bacteria culture growth and urine test. it was one shot one kill...

aso stayed pretty still when we had to hold him still for the ultrascan...

great news is that the results all came bk negative, which means no more bacteria in him and his kidneys and liver look great and healthy... but he still gotta carry on with the celphalaxim for 6 mths, cuz thats the standard full treatment and also got to go for the final scarring test in mar 2012 before he can be completely discharge from uti... the finak test is to determine if its a reflux problem or bacteria...,we are hoping for bacteria fr the diaper cuz u rather take the blame for not cleaning his shit fast enough then be reflex, cuz he will then have to be on long term medication and go thru more painful screenings...

keeping our fingers crossed...

rashes are gone....

finally darling boy's rashes cleared up.... another episode of horror concludes...

hes happier then ever and is even attempting to crawl...he inched forward a few times for ah gong, ah ma and aso nai nai... of cuz he aso go stun alot haaa.. brought so much joy to them...haaa

so proud of my little man... under 5 mths and he can flip all over， drift off to slp by himself, play alot more by himself, and now learning to crawl and sit...

once he knows how to crawl accidents will happen even more often as much as i dun want...so real challenges coming up... :)
